The terms behind Creator Compass.

1. The agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Creator Compass LLC ("Creator Compass," "we," "us"). By accessing or using creatorcompassapp.com or any service offered through it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Creator Compass. If you're using the service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. The service
Creator Compass is an analytics and growth tool for YouTube creators. We currently offer:
- Free Channel Assessment — an automated competitor breakdown and channel diagnostic, generated using public YouTube data and delivered by email.
- BETA Access ($10 one-time) — extended channel analysis, "What to Make Next" video blueprints, and access to early features. The BETA is limited in cohort size and may close to new participants at any time.
The reports we generate are produced by automated software, including AI models. While we work hard to make them accurate and useful, they are tools to inform your decisions, not guarantees of growth or revenue.
3. BETA access & payment
If you join the BETA, you agree to the following:
- The BETA is a one-time $10 USD payment. There is no recurring subscription. You will not be billed again unless you separately purchase another product.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment, you agree to Stripe's terms.
- Each BETA seat covers one personalized Channel Report for one YouTube channel. Additional channels or follow-up reports require a separate purchase.
- The BETA requires read-only access to your YouTube Studio analytics, granted to creatorcompassai@gmail.com. We never post, edit, comment, or delete on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account.
- Studio access deadline: You must grant Studio access within 14 days of payment. If access isn't granted within that window, we cannot complete your report. You may request a 50% refund within 30 days of payment if access wasn't granted; the remaining 50% covers reserved analysis capacity that can no longer be reassigned.
- Delivery timeline: Reports are typically delivered within 48-72 hours after Studio access is granted. During high volume or holidays, delivery may take longer; we'll notify you if so.
- BETA features are still under active development. They may change, break, improve, or be removed during your participation. Reports may contain errors, omissions, or recommendations that don't fit your specific situation, and you accept that risk by participating in the BETA.
- By participating, you grant us permission to use anonymized, aggregated data from your channel and report to improve the service. We will never share your individual channel data publicly without your express written permission.
4. Refunds
- Within 7 days of payment — full refund if your report has not yet been delivered and analysis has not begun.
- Studio access not granted within 14 days — 50% refund available on request within 30 days of payment.
- Once your report has been delivered — the fee is non-refundable.
- If we refuse or terminate service — we issue a full refund (see Section 10).
5. YouTube terms
Creator Compass uses YouTube API Services. By using our service, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access to your YouTube data at any time through the Google Security settings page.
6. Your account & conduct
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. When using Creator Compass, you agree not to:
- Submit channels you don't own or operate (other than as references for competitive analysis).
- Attempt to interfere with the service, the underlying infrastructure, or other users.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the service.
- Use the service to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, or harass anyone.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute reports we generate without our written permission.
7. Intellectual property
All content on creatorcompassapp.com — copy, design, logos, graphics, software, the proprietary Channel Health Score, and the underlying analysis methodology — is owned by Creator Compass LLC or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law.
The reports we generate are licensed to you for your personal use and the operation of your YouTube channel. You may share excerpts with attribution.
Your channel content remains your property. We do not claim any ownership over your videos, thumbnails, or other YouTube content.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees that:
- Following our recommendations will grow your channel, increase your views, or generate revenue.
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always accurate.
- The service will be compatible with all devices, browsers, or YouTube channel types.
Creator Compass disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. YouTube growth depends on many factors outside our control, including the YouTube algorithm, your audience, your content quality, and timing. Our reports are tools — what you do with them is up to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creator Compass LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of the service, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
You can stop using Creator Compass at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that harms us, our other users, or third parties. We'll provide notice when we can.
Right to refuse service: We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for channels that violate YouTube's Terms of Service, promote hate, harassment, or illegal activity, or for any other good-faith reason we determine. If we refuse or terminate after you've paid for the BETA but before your report has been delivered, we'll issue a full refund.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — disclaimers, limitations of liability, intellectual property, governing law — will survive.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you via email or a clear notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Creator Compass LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws say otherwise.
